新琼村位于永春县中部，泉三高速在村境内设有出口，305省道穿村而过[1]。村名取其聚落分布形如“琼”字[1]。近年以沉香为特色产业，2025年被确定为福建省省级“一村一品”专业村[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

此地古时归里仁乡管辖，属八都的一部分。解放前叫作琼美保，解放后并入延清乡等地；1958年公社化时成为新琼大队，1984年改设新琼村委会[1]。

经济[edit]

2025年11月，新琼村被认定为「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」，同月被确定为福建省2025年度省级「一村一品」专业村（沉香）[1]。2023年2月，新琼村入选福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村[1]。
