魁园村是蓬壶镇下辖的行政村，距县城20多千米，村民以种植食用菌为主。2020年12月，它被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村原名魁源。“魁”与“溪”读音相近，村中主要角落又叫溪园，于是规范定名为魁园。[1]

产业[edit]

村民以种植食用菌（蘑菇）为主，菇房集中搭建，食用菌生产已成为村里农业增收的主要产业。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

此村早先叫魁源和溪园，归民康乡常安里的二十二都管辖。民国时隶属壶东乡。公社时期为溪园大队；1981年因与外地的同名大队重复，改名魁园大队；此后改设魁园村民委员会。[1]
