地名由来[edit]
从前村子没有公路，进村只能走一条陡窄的石壁小路，人们说这像是仙人走壁飞行，村名由此而来。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
仙岭德兴堂的建造者是商人沈逢源，工程自1937年动工，1941年完工。建筑为坐北朝南的二进砖石木结构，共有32间房、5个天井。正厅悬有「德兴堂」匾，系国民政府主席林森所题。[3]
该堂于2020年11月19日由福建省人民政府公布，列为「福建省第十批省级文物保护单位」。[3]
荣誉[edit]
2025年11月，仙岭村入选「福建省第二批省级乡村振兴示范村」。2024年2月，它成为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。2021年12月，它被列为「泉州市2019—2021年度市级一村一品专业村」，主导产业为枇杷。2020年12月，它入选「2019年度福建省一村一品示范村」（枇杷）。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
历史上此地属民康乡常安里二十二都。古时小岭称前舍保，民国时期属吾顶乡辖。1952年又将万斗、长边、小岭三处划为小岭村。公社化时期划归蓬壶，称仙岭大队，体制改革后改称仙岭村委员会。[1]
