南幢村是蓬壶镇西北部的行政村，为永春县革命老区重点村。村内的幢山庵是明代留存的古建筑，为县级文物保护单位。[1][2][3]

地名由来[edit]

村子原称蓝幢，因四面山峰耸翠如蓝得名。此后名称几经变化，因音近而改写为南幢。[1]

自然环境与生产[edit]

村内有山当、醋坪两座水库，以山地综合开发为主，种植茶果，并发展金线莲、芦柑、枇杷、花卉与食用菌等基地。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

此庵最早叫南桐塾堂，南宋改名幢山庵，供奉的是黄公祖师。到明代正德年间重修，之后曾改作私塾，门上题有「南幢正塾」匾额。1991年，它被县政府列为第三批县级文物保护单位。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期，南幢属蓬壶乡下辖的一保。新中国成立后设南幢乡，1958年改为南幢大队，1988年大队改称村。[1][2]
