含春村在下洋镇西北部，地处天湖山脚下，村中有三个自然村落。[1][2]

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

因村子靠近天湖山，旧时群山环绕，林木高大，常有雾气笼罩，却四季如春，故名「含春」。[1]

1941年时，此地是永春县三都之下的含春乡。建国后直至1958年，它隶属一都区的大荣乡；1958年划入曲斗公社，成为含春大队；1984年改为村民委员会。[1][3]

2017至2019年度，含春村被评为县级文明村。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村子离县城80多公里，离泉三高速下洋出入口约20公里，省道三郊线则在约3公里外。[2]

据2021年村情材料，全村约935人，设4个村民小组，拥有林地12680亩，耕地510亩。[2]
