溪塔村隶属永春县下洋镇，村子靠近牛姆林旅游区的入口，四周环山，307省道从村中经过。[1][2]

地名由来与历史沿革[edit]

村中溪流曲折，四围山势环抱成圆形，远望如同一座圆塔，因此叫溪塔。[1]

新中国成立前，溪塔归永春三都横口福鼎乡所辖，后来并入大横乡。[1]

1997年起，此地独立设村，不再与邻近村落合设。2019年12月，溪塔村入选第二批「国家森林乡村」；2020年12月，入选「福建省森林村庄」；2022年10月，获福建省农业农村厅认定为第二批「福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2025年3月，被认定为「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

按2021年的村情材料，村中外来人口200人，本地居民约630人，分住180多户，编为三个村民小组；村域约5平方公里，海拔450米。[2]

村中耕地约350亩，林地约4500亩，距泉三高速下洋出口约11公里。[2]

经济[edit]

煤矿经营、芦柑与茶叶种植，以及运输和饮食服务，构成了村民的主要生计。村中设有国有溪塔林场与龙溪水库电站。[1][2]
