大荣村隶属永春县下洋镇，位于镇西部，四面环山，村域多为山地，区域面积约15平方公里。[1][4]

历史沿革[edit]

岱赢乡是此地在新中国成立前的名称，当时隶属三都；新中国成立初期易名大横乡。1957年改称大荣，设大荣大队，1987年改设为大荣村民委员会。[1]

村名取「光大繁荣」的寓意。[1]

1990年，大荣村获永春县授予「大荣文明村」称号；1994年，县政府评其为基本小康村；2006年，泉州市委与市政府授予「宽裕型文明村」；2008年，县政府授予「第十一届文明村」；2017至2019年度又被评为县级文明村。[1][2]

地理环境[edit]

村子离泉三高速下洋出口约7公里；203、307两条省道在村境内相接，可直达漳平、安溪与大田。[1][2]

全村439户，划分为11个村民小组，另管辖9个自然村落。[2]

境内多山，煤炭蕴藏较为可观，气候属亚热带海洋性气候。[1]

经济[edit]

当地人的营生包括制茶、售卖芦柑、小规模采煤、跑运输，也有开餐馆和做买卖的。[1]

据下洋镇的镇情材料，金线莲、三七和灵芝都在村中的林地里以近似野生的方式栽种。[3]
