地名由来[edit]
这里的村民沿天马山东麓一带聚居，地形像鳌，于是取谐音定名为吾边。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1961年组建吾边大队，1984年起更名为吾边村，村民委员会随之设立。[1]
五一水库[edit]
村内的五一水库是中型水利工程，以灌溉为主，兼顾防洪与发电。水库名取“五一劳动节”中的“五一”。[1]
