华岩社区位于五里街镇中心地段，是镇的政治、经济和文化中心，2005年5月才设立社区居委会。[1]
地名由来[edit]
此地旧属二十五都，后来更名为华岩。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
新中国成立初期设华岩乡，随后改为华岩第四区。1959年设立华岩大队，1968年在五里街公社下又设华岩大队，1980年代起称五里街镇华岩村。直至2005年5月，才设立华岩社区居委会。[1]
党组织与荣誉[edit]
2014年，社区党组织设企业、农业、离退休三个分支部，共有党员94人。[2]
2022年11月，社区被确定为「2022年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
