这是位于五里街镇中心区的一个社区，隶属永春县五里街镇，1981年3月成立，2003年11月6日设立社区居委会。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

地名的来历与一条商贸街有关：清末，西安、华岩、儒林一带有一条弯曲延伸的街道，全长五华里，街因此得名。[1]

社区范围内驻有永春实验小学、永春中医院和永春医药公司，306省道也从辖区穿过。[2]
