五里街镇是福建省泉州市永春县下辖的镇，位于县城西北，属县城规划区，辖5个社区和6个行政村，全镇面积约42.66平方千米。[1][2][3][4]

镇名来自街道的长度。有一说法是：从县城城隍庙一直到西安的新亭路，街道长达五华里；另一说法则指县城城隍庙西侧五华里处的一条热闹街巷，它先叫丰岑头街，民国初年才改成现名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

唐宋时期，这一带分属民康乡和集庆乡。明清两代归属二十都及其后的二十二至二十五都。民国时期分属第一区和西安镇，新中国成立后先后划入第四区、第十一区和第十二区。[5]

1958年划归城关公社。1961年组建五里街人民公社，辖境与今天大致相同，此后改称五里街乡。1986年5月设立五里街镇。[5]

五里古街[edit]

镇区的五里古街在宋至清末是永安、德化、大田、安溪和永春一带的货物集散地，也是永春华侨外出的起点之一。[7]

街上一排排1917年建成的双层连排闽南骑楼，自2018年起按照“修旧如旧”的原则陆续修缮，老宅改作武术馆、艺术馆，骑楼之间点缀着餐厅和文创基地。[7][8]

名胜古迹[edit]

镇内的文物保护单位分布在数个社区和村中，包括李俊承故居、巽来庄、义烈祠、翁公祠、生本堂、龟龙桥和中共永春县第一个支部旧址，各自的情况见相应社区或村的条目。[6]

永春城隍庙位于镇内，始建于宋代开宝年间，清雍正年间升格为永春直隶州城隍庙。今址为1993年重建，现为县级文物保护单位。[6][9]
