洋上村位于桃城镇北端，距县城13公里，四面环山，与外坵村相连。[1]

据传此村原名营村，别名高阳。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明代，此地属民康乡鸣琴里高阳坊；清代先后称二十都堂后、二十都洋上。[2]

1949年设洋上乡，1958年秋改称洋上大队，1984年改名洋上村。[2][3]

经济[edit]

以农业为主，主要种植芦柑、水稻和地瓜。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

新坂堂为余光中旧居，清代始建（百度百科称始建于清咸丰年间），单檐歇山顶，房间共40间。2009年11月16日，新坂堂被公布为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[4][5]

余承尧故居——坂内堂为清代建筑，属县级文物保护单位。[6][7]

高阳余氏宗祠始建于清道光十八年（1838年），为县级文物保护单位；县级文物名单称，爱国将领余承尧与诗人余光中均出于此宗祠所在的宗族。[6]

百度百科称新坂堂为诗人余光中少年时期的故居，保存有余光中的题字与照片。[4]

文化[edit]

2024年10月，洋上村被确定为泉州市2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村（水稻）。[1]

2025年11月，洋上村被确定为福建省2025年度省级「一村一品」专业村（水稻）。[1]
