历史沿革[edit]
清代，此地属东门外十四都；民国时期归桃源保管辖。[1]
新中国成立后，这里的建制几经更替，先后有四区、桃东乡、生产大队、革命委员会与村民委员会，最后改为居民委员会。[1]
2003年9月5日，桃东社区居民委员会设立。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
真武宫位于桃东社区，为清代建筑，并有现代的部分，是县级文物保护单位。[2]
