历史沿革[edit]
本地先民与潘田一脉相承，此后向这里拓居，因此与潘田相连。民国三十三年（1944年）归潘田保管辖，称下格村；中华人民共和国成立后划入潘桃乡。1961年为感德公社的下格大队，1981年又改隶感德乡，称下格村。1987年，乡制重组后它成为桃舟乡下辖的下格村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村域面积2平方公里，耕地约480亩，茶园约800亩，毛竹林约2800亩。[1]
村内六个自然村的名称依次是仙都、德阵坂、湖坃、清水亭、上格崙和下格洋。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年10月，省农业农村厅把本村列为第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇。[1][2]
2022年11月，村在泉州市的绿盈乡村中级版评选中获得认定。[1]
