桃舟村是桃舟乡人民政府所在的村，在安溪县西北部，处于安溪、漳平、永春三县（市）交界的地方，是乡里的中心区。[1][3]

村落位于戴云山脉南麓，属亚热带季风气候，经济以茶叶为主，并发展香菇、竹林和水稻等产业。旧街上有双溪宫。[3][1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋代此地称桃舟坊，属金田乡感德里。明代因处在三县（市）的交通要冲，这里设为关隘，名为桃舟隘，也是官府的防守驻地。[2]

民国前期此地属潘桃乡下的桃舟保。1958年起属感德公社，称桃舟大队；1984年由大队改为村；1987年，感德乡析出一部分成立桃舟乡，本村就成了乡政府驻地。[2]

地理环境[edit]

村域面积约10平方公里，耕地约2883亩，山地约45000亩。[1]

国家林业和草原局在2019年12月公布第二批国家森林乡村名单，桃舟村位列其中；此后，2020年12月，福建省的森林村庄名录也把本村收入。[1]

经济[edit]

在泉州的“绿盈乡村”中级版评定中，本村于2020年12月获得认定。主导产业为水稻的村，又于2024年10月被泉州市评为该年度的“一村一品”专业村。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

旧街处的双溪宫供奉三位“总制尊王”，即宗室山忠，是周边六个村共同供奉的庙宇。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
