地名由来[edit]
明嘉靖《安溪县志》有记载：此地山中产白叶竹，因而得名白叶坂，后简称白坂。[1][5]
地理与交通[edit]
村子位于佛耳山西麓，海拔983米。乡内的308省道过境，村子是通往华安县的连接村。[1][3]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代，村地为崇信里的侯洋保所辖。民国后期，它划归白玉坂保。新中国成立之初隶属一个小公社；1957年组建白玉坂生产大队，1984年又改组为白坂村民委员会。[1][6]
白叶堡遗址[edit]
白叶堡遗址在村内佛耳山一带的山脊上。明嘉靖二十七年（1548年），佥事余爌兴建寨堡，调泉州卫官兵驻守。寨堡沿山脊而建，东西向宽约100米，南北向纵深130米左右；建筑总面积逾一万三千平方米，堡内曾有百余间房舍。[2][3]
人口与荣誉[edit]
村民主要为詹姓。[1]
2021年12月，村子被命名为「2021年度福建省森林村庄」。2023年2月，入选「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。政府网站记载，白坂村曾获批为省级乡村振兴示范村的创建单位。[1][4]
