地名由来[edit]
明弘治年间，上官惟瑞自福春迁来此地，建起和春祖祠。村名寄望乡邻和睦相处，待人温和，如春日一般。[2][3]
历史沿革[edit]
村地始建于元朝中期，明清两代归金田乡的还二里管辖。1946年，此地成为福珊乡的一个保；1952年又改归第十四区的福春乡。1953年，村子自福春乡分出，另立一乡。[1][3]
1958年起村子归长坑公社；1965年随祥华公社划出；1984年，改为祥华乡下的和春村民委员会。[1][3]
自然环境[edit]
村内有国家级生态公益林，茶园也是村中的主要土地利用方式。[1]
