地名由来[edit]
村子古代称华山，因四面环山，后改为华地，建国后才定名祥华。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
村子的建置可追溯到宋代，元朝时属金田乡还集里，明清时属金田乡还一里，民国时归福珊乡下辖的华地堡。[1][3]
1952年7月起村子归第十四区管辖。1965年4月，它并入祥华人民公社，编为其中的祥华大队；到1984年4月，改设为祥华乡下的祥华村民委员会。[1][3]
地理与人文[edit]
村内有古樟树，村中还有李光地出生地遗址，百度百科将其列为村内景点。[4][5]
荣誉[edit]
2020年12月，村子被认定为2020年泉州市中级版「绿盈乡村」，同月入选2020年福建省森林村庄名单。2024年2月，村子被列为「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」的创建对象。[1]
据政府网站，祥华村与福洋村、白坂村一同获批省级乡村振兴示范村的创建单位资格。[6]
