举源村位于龙涓镇东部，在溪流下游一带，1994年设村，初称举一，后改名举源。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属龙涓里举魁乡，民国时属宝溪乡的一个保。1952年归第八区一个乡，1958年为龙涓公社的一个大队，1984年成为龙涓乡下的村委会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中组建了茶叶专业合作社，按无公害要求统一进行标准化管理，并引进良种，分批翻种老茶园。[2]

荣誉[edit]

福建省爱国卫生运动委员会于2022年12月，命名举源村为「2022年福建省卫生村」。[1]
