长塔村位于龙涓镇境内，原称雁塔村，因明初刘氏先祖父子定居于此、排行为雁、塔而得名，明嘉靖年间村中建长安塔后改称长塔。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明洪武十三年（1380年），刘氏先祖父子定居此地。明嘉靖年间（1522—1566年）村中建造长安塔，1966年拆毁。[1]
明清时期此地归积德乡崇信里，民国后期成为宝溪乡的一个保。1952年划入第八区，1958年成为龙涓公社的一个大队，1961年改归龙涓区的一个公社，1965年拆并后归龙涓公社，1984年起设龙涓乡长塔村委会。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，长塔村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
