吉山村位于龙涓镇北部偏东，地处高山小盆地，四周有四条小坑，1961年从三乡大队分出时定名吉山。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

先人认为此地是吉祥之地，初称吉德祥。明清时期属龙涓里横坑乡，民国时属龙涓乡三乡保。[1]

新中国成立后先属龙涓乡，随后归三乡乡。1958年11月，它成为龙涓人民公社三乡大队的一部分；1961年8月分出后自建吉山大队。1984年7月改为龙涓乡吉山村。[1]

人口[edit]

2013年时全村共263户、1258人。[2]

文化[edit]

村内姓谢者居多。清乾隆十三年（1748年），谢氏先人迁入吉竹洋一带聚居。[2]

境内有明清时代的古窑址，为省级文物保护单位。[2]
