培福村位于安溪县西南角，靠近华安县仙都镇，离龙涓镇驻地约7公里。村名先称坝北，后改为培福。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子设立于明朝洪武时期。明清两代，此地先归积德乡龙涓里的磜都乡，民国时期又成为福山保的一部分。[1]

新中国成立后先归第九区一乡，1958年成为龙涓公社的一个大队，1961年划归龙涓区公社，1965年撤区后仍属公社大队。1994年析出，建立独立的培福村委会。[2]

荣誉[edit]

第一批「国家森林乡村」名单中有培福村，时间为2019年12月。2022年1月，培福村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
