福都村位于龙涓镇境内，原称下诏都村。民国时曾与附近两村合为一个保，称福山保，分出后取各村名中一字定名福都。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属龙涓一带的祭兜乡，民国时仍是福山保的一部分。[1]

1952年设福都乡，1957年并入邻近的乡，1958年成为龙涓公社福都大队。1984年7月改设福都村。[1]

荣誉[edit]

福建省农业农村厅于2022年10月认定福都村为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]
