双美村是安溪县大坪乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境西南部，下辖6个自然村，距乡政府驻地约25公里。[1][2]

村名的来历与旧时毛竹加工有关：古时两地盛产毛竹，村民以编竹为业，把竹子加工成薄片，“篾”与“美”谐音，于是称“加篾”，后写作“加美”；河流上游的一处称上加美。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属积德乡新康里，民国时期属新康乡。1965年，虎邱公社自西坪划出，本村另立为一个大队，名为双美。1984年，虎邱乡设双美村委会；1987年，大坪乡组建，本村归其管辖。[1][2][3]

荣誉[edit]

2024年10月，本村被确定为泉州市2023年度市级「一村一品」专业村，主导产业为乌龙茶；同年11月，被认定为2024年度福建省「一村一品」专业村（乌龙茶）。2022年1月，被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1][2]
