大坪乡是福建省泉州市安溪县下辖的乡，位于县境南部，东面与龙门镇相接，西面和北面与虎邱镇毗邻，南面与长泰区及厦门市同安区交界。乡政府设在大坪村，境内海拔850米，属中亚热带气候，茶园连片，茶叶是本乡的支柱产业。[1][2]

本乡于1987年6月从虎邱乡析出，设立大坪乡。截至2020年6月，全乡辖7个行政村，即大坪、萍州、前洋、香仑、福美、帽山和双美。[3][4]

地理环境[edit]

全乡面积约79平方千米，距安溪县城49千米；1992年的统计数为78.65平方千米。境内有瀑布、原始森林、亿年古松化石和千年古杉等自然景观。[1][2]

气候方面，年平均气温16℃至18℃，年日照时数约1875小时，年降雨量1700至1900毫米，相对湿度78%至80%。土壤以红壤和黄壤为主。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时此地隶属积德乡，称新康里，明清仍沿用这一名称。民国年间它辗转于新崇龙、第四、第三等区与崇新区之间，其后并入新康乡。新中国成立后，先后归崇新区、第七区和西坪区管辖；1958年归西坪公社，1961年回到西坪区，1965年改属虎邱公社，1984年成为虎邱乡的一部分。[1][4]

1987年6月，大坪、萍州、前洋、香仑、福美、帽山、双美七个行政村从虎邱乡分出，合设大坪乡，乡政府驻大坪村。1992年，全乡有3257户、17264人。[1][4]

2012年12月，环境保护部授予本乡「2010—2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2022年1月，本乡被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[3]

2024年常住人口为18126人。百度百科载，截至2019年末，户籍人口为18956人。[1][2][4]

经济[edit]

茶叶是大坪乡的支柱产业，全乡九成以上的人口直接从事茶叶的生产和流通各个环节，茶叶收入是村民的主要来源。种植的茶树品种有铁观音、黄旦、本山、肉桂等。[1][2]

安溪四大名茶之一的毛蟹茶原产于本乡。据考证，此茶始见于1907年：萍州人张家霍、张家协在山上发现这种与众不同的茶树，将它移栽到公婆林格，经几番繁育而成。该茶产量高，滋味醇厚，香气浓郁。[1][2]

本乡空气、土壤和水质保持原生态，土壤中含硒丰富。因此大坪被县里定为发展高山富硒绿色食品茶叶的重要基地。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

乡内有四处瀑布群，以百丈瀑布最为出名，其落差115米，宽40米。其余三处为龙潭瀑布（落水高40米，宽30米）、后山溪瀑布（落水高30米，宽10米）与遮头溪瀑布（落水高25米，宽15米）。遮头溪瀑布上方的化石为两棵亿年古松，另外，百丈瀑布一带可见三处死火山口。[1]

萍州村田地角落有一处茅草屋，海拔约900米，背靠一条称为落霞谷的山谷，山势陡峭，落差很大。[1]

县级文物保护单位有两处，均在本乡：大坪高氏宗祠为明清时期的古建筑，位于大坪村杏林52号；资深祖祠为元代古建筑，位于萍州村茂林。[5][3]
