园德村旧称完竹，1985年由中兴村析出，单独设立行政村，是革命老区基点村。[1][2][3]

旧称完竹，后改用雅字，定名园德。[1]

1985年以前，该地历属第十区中兴乡、蓬莱公社中兴大队及尚卿公社。1985年从中兴村析出，立园德村，设村委会。[1]

荣誉与革命历史[edit]

2022年1月，列入安溪县2020至2021年度「文明村镇」名单。[1]

园德村是革命老区基点村。[3]
