科洋村位于尚卿乡北部，地处五阆山南麓，下辖7个自然村。[1]

名称与沿革[edit]

村名与旧时此地设有科场有关，取一举成名之意，读音近“科阳”，遂称科洋。[2]

解放前，科洋与科名统称科坪，曾设科场；解放后分开，别称下科名。[2]

1952年划归第十区科名乡，1958年成立科洋大队并隶湖头公社；1965年随尚卿公社划出，1984年改为尚卿乡科洋村，设村委会。[2]

文物[edit]

科洋瓷窑古遗址列为县级文物保护单位，据2020年发布的县名录，其位于本村，年代为明代。[3]
