沙堤村是福建省泉州市安溪县湖上乡下辖的行政村，村名是误写之后沿用下来的[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村名原作「沙犁」，因误写成「沙堤」，于是将错就错，沿用至今[1]。

沿革[edit]

民国年间此地与周边数村组成沙上乡。1959年立湖头公社沙堤大队；1984年成为湖头乡的沙堤村委会；1987年随湖上乡设立，改属湖上乡沙堤村委会[1]。
