地名由来[edit]
黄武原名「皇道」。早年境内有一条石砌的宽大道路，从安溪通往永春一都、大田县和永垵，历史记载中称为皇道。解放后，闽南语把它读成谐音的「黄杜」，70年代改称黄武大队[1][2]。
沿革[edit]
1949年时属剑斗十二区。1958年至1960年间，又划归邻近公社；1961年至1984年间隶属湖头人民公社，1984年起改归湖上乡[1]。2019年11月，村里设立了集体经济的股份合作组织[2]。
荣誉[edit]
2000年，村子被授予革命老区称号[1][2]。2020年12月，黄武村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」[1]。
