雪山村在安溪县北部，位于湖上乡西北方向约5.6公里处，是乡辖的行政村[1][2]。村子以山地为主，村里的最高峰称「四大尖山」[1]。

地名由来[edit]

村中的「四大尖山」海拔900多米，山势笔直挺立。往年半年间山上都有积雪，村里冬天常见结冰，气候寒冷，因而得名雪山[1]。

沿革[edit]

早年属修仁乡来苏里；民国时期并入八社乡的湖珍保，1952年划入十二区湖珍乡。1958年湖头公社组建雪山大队，1984年称湖头乡雪山村委会，1987年自湖头分出，改设湖上乡雪山村委会[1]。
