湖上乡是福建省泉州市安溪县的一个乡，位于县境中北部，处在五阆山西北麓。全乡面积49.03平方千米，平均海拔约680米，东北与白濑乡相连，南面与湖头镇毗邻，北面与剑斗镇交界[1]。乡内以山地为主，矿业与茶叶是两项主要产业，森林覆盖率为61%[1]。畲族在这里集中聚居，是县内畲族较集中的乡镇之一[1]。
历史沿革[edit]
这一带在宋、元、明、清时属感化里，民国时先后归来感区、第二区、第一区和八社乡管辖。新中国成立后辖地几经分合，先后属清溪区、第四区、第十二区、剑斗区和湖头区，1958年改归湖头人民公社，1984年仍隶湖头乡[4][5]。
1987年6月，湖上乡由湖头乡析出珍地等12个村设立[1][3][4]。地名的来历一说是乡境位于湖头镇半岭村上方的山坡，故称湖上[4]。
2011年，湖上村高边桥、岭尾、龛脚等角落的居民迁至湖头镇横山村的福址埔安置，并在当地另设湖新村，全乡由此形成13个行政村[1][2]。
地理环境[edit]
五阆山横跨湖头镇、湖上乡和尚卿镇，主峰海拔1256.7米，山间有龙泉潭、蟹眼泉等水体，其环境适宜栽培乌龙茶（铁观音）[8]。
县内石灰石的主产区之一即在湖上乡，此外还有铁矿、煤和叶腊石等矿藏[1]。乡内耕地不多，山地占大部分，竹林资源也较多[1][2]。
人口民族[edit]
博雅地名网载2002年全乡总人口25830人[5]。县政府网站载2007年全乡仍辖12个村，共6136户、25348人，其中畲族4300多人[1]。百度百科载2019年末户籍人口为29295人[3]。
盛富、横坪两村为少数民族村，长林村的白山同角落为少数民族自然角落。县政府网站另载全乡畲族人口4735人，未注明统计年份[2]。
经济[edit]
茶叶是乡里的主要产业，乡内有生态茶园。竹编也在发展，网上有销售畲族竹编的渠道[2]。
教育卫生[edit]
乡内有湖上中心学校、湖上中学和珍地中学，乡里设有湖上卫生院[5]。
名胜古迹[edit]
铜锣庙位于盛富畲族村的铜锣寨峰顶，是安溪县县级文物保护单位，庙内保存明清时期的文物，正殿悬有清代李光地题赠的匾额，详见该村条目[6][7]。
文化[edit]
2011年4月，环境保护部授予湖上乡「2011年度国家级生态乡镇」称号[4]。2022年1月，湖上乡被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」[4]。
