珍田村位于安溪县长卿镇西南部，地处丘陵，境内有交椅屏山、船形山、狮仔形山、观音山等山丘。村名取珍贵田地之意，为纪念先人开垦的良田而起。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
据村中传说，苏姓先人花了二十一年开垦出三片良田，后代为纪念这份艰苦创业而取名珍田。此名亦见于地名录。[1][3]
明清时此地属金田乡还二里，民国时期属平湖保。新中国成立后，先为十四区的珊村乡；1955年6月分出设珍田乡，同年9月划入珊屏区，1956年6月归长坑区。1958年并入公社体制后为珍田大队，1961年8月调整后仍称此名。[3]
1984年7月定为珍田村，2020年起更名为长卿镇珍田村村民委员会。[3]
清康熙年间（1662年—1722年），村中苏氏有三十多人因生计困难迁往台湾，后代在当地繁衍。[2]

2022年1月，珍田村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
