文坪村位于安溪县长卿镇西部，海拔688米，境内有大平仑、双溪山等山丘，后坑溪与后林溪流经村中，村民主要为王姓。村名原称大平，1981年9月因与他处同名、不易辨认，改称文坪。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地为平湖保。中华人民共和国成立后，先划入第五区的平湖乡，后归第十一区与长坑区，称大平乡。1958年11月改为大队建制，1981年9月改称文坪大队，1984年7月改为文坪村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村中山丘有大平仑、双溪山、庵鸡仑等，溪流为后坑溪和后林溪。[1]
