水缸村位于安溪县长卿镇西北部，在祖厝溪和解坑溪两岸，岭尖、杉林、解坑山麓，村民主要为上官姓。村名因村内溪流中一处形似水缸的小潭而得。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

先人原住别处，清朝时因生计所迫迁到此地开荒种地。明清时此地归金田乡还二里，1946年曾属福珊乡。[1]

1952年后归第十四区的乡管辖，1958年归长坑公社，1984年自原大队分出，设立长坑乡水缸村委会，2020年后改为长卿镇水缸村村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年1月，水缸村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」；2020年12月，水缸村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。[1]
