玉南村位于安溪县长卿镇西南部，地处山丘地带，西面与镇区相邻，村民的收入主要靠外出务工。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此地归金田乡还二里。民国时期属长卿镇的一保（1946年），1952年划入第十一区的一个乡，1958年成为长坑公社的玉南大队；1984年起称长坑乡玉南村委会，2020年后更名为长卿镇玉南村村民委员会。[1]

经济[edit]

村中有几处铁件加工点，其余农田较少，农作物收成不高，村民收入以外出打工为主。[1]

文化[edit]

2020年12月，玉南村被认定为「2020年泉州市中级版绿盈乡村」。2022年1月，玉南村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
