青苑村位于安溪县长卿镇东部，省道308线纵贯村境，村中设有四个自然村。村名原作“青洋坂”，后谐音雅化为“青苑”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

青苑村名取苑圃长青的雅意。明清时此地属金田乡还二里；民国时期属长卿镇的一个保，之后归同镇另一保管辖。[1]

1952年后归第十一区管辖，所属乡级单位在1958年间分设出青苑大队，1960年一度并入他处，1961年8月复设青苑大队，1984年改设为青苑村。[1]
