衡阳村位于安溪县长卿镇东北部的高山上，村落处在一片山中小平原，四面山头较矮，村民以苏姓为主。村名取阳光从早到晚充足、有太阳衡照之感的意思。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国三十四年（1945年）已称长卿镇衡阳村落，此前属金田乡还二里。1952年归第十一区的衡阳乡管辖，1958年组成长坑公社的衡阳大队，直到1982年才定名为长坑乡衡阳村。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
衡阳庵又名仙公宫，始建于南宋中叶，明代改建，嘉靖二年改为现名，1995年列为县级文物保护单位。庵内现存明代遗构，还有一棵象征苏氏后裔繁衍的桂花古树。[2]
村中另有长坑东洋祖宇，为清代古建筑，同为县级文物保护单位。[1]

2022年1月，衡阳村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
