员潭村位于参内镇南部，辖3个自然村，临晋江西溪左岸 [1]。村名取自溪中的一处深潭，该潭古称黄潭 [1]。

历史沿革[edit]

民国时期此地归长泰里的泰安乡；新中国成立后划入城厢公社的员潭大队，1984年改属参内乡，设员潭村委会 [1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

安溪茶叶公园在村落北部，园内有茗山茶亭、科研生态茶园和茶叶品种园，并有南宋抗金将领刘锜的陵园 [1][2]。南宋时，刘锜去世后，其子为避金兵骚扰，将他葬于黄潭后山，即今日的陵园所在 [2]。

村内的吴王墓属宋代古墓葬，为县级文物保护单位，并列入安溪县县级（含）以上文物保护单位名录 [1][4]。村中的「圆潭劝农摩崖石刻」刻于宋代，位于普陀寺旁，属石窟寺及石刻类，为县级文物保护单位 [1][3][4]。

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，村子被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」 [1]。
