大厝村位于参内镇西南，在岩岭山东麓，辖9个自然村 [1][2]。村内的石堂宫为县级文物保护单位 [3][5]。

地名由来[edit]

宋代柯氏在此开发，故原称柯厝兜，又称溪头 [1][2]。黄纲十世孙黄孟仁由县城东的葛磐迁居此地，繁衍生息。明代柯氏外迁后，地名由谐音改为大厝兜，沿用至今 [1]。

名胜古迹[edit]

石堂宫又名龟峰堂，始建于北宋，主祀保生大帝吴夲，在安溪是较早供奉保生大帝的寺庙 [3][4]。清康熙十年（1671年）重建，1981年由侨胞集资依原貌重建，1987年建成的现存建筑为重檐单体结构 [4]。石堂宫1995年列为安溪县文物保护单位，并入选安溪县县级（含）以上文物保护单位名录 [4][5]。

2022年1月，村子被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」 [1]。
