地名由来[edit]
这里原称福水，地处参内洋的取水源头，水利丰富，即便久旱也有水。民国时期，“福”与“祜”同音，地名遂改为祜水 [2]。
历史沿革[edit]
清代以至民国，祜水归长泰里泰安乡管辖；新中国成立后划入城厢公社，1984年起隶属参内乡 [1]。清代与民国期间，不少村民迁往台湾等地 [1]。村中以黄、李、蔡三姓为主 [2]。
荣誉[edit]
2021年2月，祜水村在「福建省2018-2020年度省级文明村镇社区」名单中上榜 [1]。2022年，村子被列为「泉州市乡村振兴示范村」 [2]。
