珠洋村隶属西坪镇，位于大宝山羊角尖以西，距镇政府约15千米。[1]
地名由来[edit]
明洪武年间，有先民分支迁居此地，取滴水成珠之意，初写作洙洋，后改为珠洋并沿用至今。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期设宝东保珠洋乡。1950年，此地设安溪县珠洋第八区；1956年撤区，改组为高级农业社；1958年合并数村成立珠洋大队。1978年村里开始用电，此后生活与制茶逐步电气化。[2]
1979年建村，下辖5个自然村，村委会设在双垵点。同年11月，此地析为三个村。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2022年1月，本村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
