地名由来[edit]
1961年，本村从尧阳乡分出，因位于尧阳乡的上方，故称上尧。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
历史上此地属积德乡崇信里尧洋乡。新中国成立初期称松尧乡，1956年组建高级社，1958年改为西坪人民公社上尧大队；西坪乡设立后，改称上尧村民委员会。[1]
古建筑[edit]
珍春古民居位于村中，为县级文物保护单位。[1]
经济[edit]
村民主要种茶，村中有山地约5000亩，茶叶是村民的主要收入来源。[1]
荣誉[edit]
2017年8月，本村列入「福建省第二批省级传统村落」名录。[1]
