南岩村是西坪镇南部的行政村，位于南岩峰山间，距镇区约6千米。南岩峰海拔1002米。[1]

村内有月寨、南岩泰山楼等古建筑，2019年6月列入第五批中国传统村落名录。[1][3]

地名由来[edit]

村因位于南岩峰山间而得名。[1]

姓氏与族源[edit]

村民以王、李两姓为主。南岩王氏出自芦田王氏，明正德二年（1507年）自芦田迁入西坪一带，后裔再分居南岩周边村落。李姓则居于李厝埔，来源待考。[1][2]

古建筑[edit]

月寨位于村中月寨古村，编号142号与62号，为县级文物保护单位。[3]

南岩泰山楼坐东朝西，平面呈长方形，由二层主楼与左右护厝组成，主楼外墙以花岗石砌筑，墙上设斗形窗和喇叭形射孔，便于瞭望防卫。2013年，该楼经福建省人民政府列为省级文物保护单位，属第八批。[1][3]

荣誉[edit]

2022年1月，本村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
