地名由来[edit]

1956年，西坪区设尧阳乡，乡名是原属四个村的统称。尧阳村位于四村中央，因此取名尧阳。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

宋、元、明、清四代隶属崇信里。明正德二年（1507年），王氏先祖王毅庵自芦田迁入，后裔已传二十余世，并陆续分居周边几个村落。[1][2]

茶业[edit]

村民以茶产业为主，茶树品种丰富，有铁观音、本山、黄金桂、奇兰、肉桂等。据百度百科，本村是铁观音的发源地之一。[1][2]

文物[edit]

尧阳日寨古民居位于村内山腰，门牌为山腰27号与大楼13号，为县级文物保护单位。[1]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，本村列入「福建省第三批省级传统村落」名单。[1]

2022年1月，本村被认定为「安溪县2020-2021年度文明村镇」。[1]
