阳星村隶属西坪镇，位于镇域西北，依傍国公山东南麓，全村辖3个自然村。[3]
地名由来[edit]
村名早年写作「扬第」，也曾叫「洋地」。村中始祖迁来时，看中此处山水秀美、龙穴环抱，便建起祖厝。解放后一度改作「阳升」，寓意人民翻身作主，之后谐音定为「阳星」。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
明清两代归积德乡崇信里管辖。民国三十五年（1946年）划归尚卿乡管辖的尤俊保。1952年并入第十区俊新乡；1958年隶属西坪公社洋山大队，1965年自大队分出，独立设阳星大队；1984年定为阳星村委会。[1]
姓氏与人口[edit]
村民以吴氏与林氏为主。据村情介绍，吴姓一支于宋代迁入，明嘉靖年间又有人在此定居；林姓一支在崇祯五年（1632年）迁入，于此建成跨头顶祖祠。[1][2]
产业[edit]
茶业是村里的主业，种植铁观音、本山等茶树品种。此外，茶叶初制、加工以及藤铁工艺品的制作也是支柱行业。[3]
