霞中村位于笔架山东麓，离感德镇区东北约3.2公里，海拔410米。[1]

村名的由来：1979年析村时取“霞春”的“霞”字，因村中有汪氏“洋中祖宇”，又取其“中”字，合为“霞中”。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1979年11月自霞春大队析出为独立村，取名霞中；1984年设感德乡霞中村委会。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村下辖旗杆脚、石古潭、洋中三个角落，设20个村民小组。[1]

2008年末统计，本村有645户，人口2785人。[1]

耕地51.2公顷，茶园43.7公顷，村民以汪姓为主，以茶叶为主业。[1]
