新中国成立后，本村原分属槐植与五甲两个大队，1962年才单独设村。[1]
2022年1月，村庄被评为安溪县2020至2021年度文明村镇。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村中有外石迈、尾园、内石迈、禾枫头、大格内五个自然村，合计15个村民小组。[1]
茶园140公顷，竹林33.3公顷，生态公益林65.3公顷。[1]
村民以茶叶和林业为主要收入来源。[1]
