潘田村是感德镇西北部的一个行政村，在镇政府驻地以西约6.5公里处，距安溪县城80多公里，海拔890米。[1][2][3]
相传村名出自最早在此开发的潘姓，如今村中已没有潘姓居民，吴姓于明洪武年间迁入定居，至今已有630多年。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
民国时期此地称感德里大格乡潘田保。新中国成立后，本地一度与周边几处村落合为一个小公社；1955年改设感德公社潘田大队，后随乡镇变动改为感德镇潘田村。[1]
自2004年起，潘田因灾害移民，涉及移民2685人、679户，分两处安置在城厢镇的小区。2006年6月，除大格角落外，其余自然角落全部搬迁。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村内有四个自然角落，名称为洋中、寨格、角垵与大格，全村面积约6500亩。[1]
经济[edit]
村民的主要收入来源是矿产业与茶产业。[1]
