云山村是芦田镇下辖的行政村，位于紫云山一带的山地之中，村域群山环抱，多有云雾。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前，此地称上乌土。解放后，一位县领导到村中考察，见群山环抱、云雾缭绕，遂改名云山。另有一说，村子背靠紫云山，每逢春夏之交，山头常被云雾裹住，村舍若隐若现。[1]

明清时期归还一里上乌涂乡所管；1958年成为西坪公社的乌土大队；1973年，芦田茶场接管云山地区；1984年改为村委会，1991年乡改镇，本村归芦田镇。[1]

全村人口1178人，村内有上堀、下堀与外村三处自然角落。[1]
