芦田镇是福建省泉州市安溪县的辖镇，位于县境西南部，距县城约54公里，以茶叶为主要产业。1991年11月，芦田乡改为镇建制，镇人民政府驻芦田村。[1][2][5]

历史沿革[edit]

元、明、清三代，此地属安溪县积德乡崇信里。民国时期曾分属若干区与乡，1949年后先后划归崇新区与西坪区等。[4][5]

20世纪50年代末至60年代初，此地先后设立畜牧场与农场。1965年12月，农场与龙涓、西坪两地的社办场合并，改称安溪县芦田茶场，同年鸿都、招坑两村的大队也划归茶场。[4]

1973年，西坪公社所辖的数个大队划归茶场；1984年8月，茶场所辖地域设立芦田乡人民政府，乡与茶场并存。[4]

芦田镇的建制时间，县政府网站的概况有两处说法：历史沿革一节作1992年改镇，街巷一节作1991年11月。博雅地名网与百度百科作1991年11月，此处取这一说。[1][4][5]

2011年4月，芦田镇获环境保护部授予的国家级生态乡镇称号，为2011年度的命名。[2]

地理环境[edit]

镇境海拔在350米至950米之间，年平均气温为18至20摄氏度，气候适宜茶树生长。[1]

紫云山海拔1341米，山名来自清晨云气缭绕山顶的景象。[1]

2009年，县政府网站称全镇总面积96平方千米；该网站另载1997年的面积为91平方千米。[1][3]

人口[edit]

据百度百科，2019年末镇户籍人口为17975人。安溪县人民政府网站记2009年全镇总人口为1.63万人，未说明统计口径。[5][1]

经济[edit]

茶叶是全镇的主要产业，以乌龙茶为主。镇内设有国有的芦田茶场。[1]

境内蕴藏铅、锌、钨、煤等矿藏，招坑村与石盘村一带的高岭土储量大、品质好，可作建材的原料。[1]

水稻也有种植。土特产有笋干、苦菜和蕨干。[1]

文化[edit]

镇中心的老街原称芦田街。1991年建镇后，街道延长建设，为突出芦田茶叶的名气改称芦茗街，全长约2000米，有店铺180多家，每逢农历一、六为集市日。[1]

当地民俗中，插秧结束后要洗土，请帮工的亲朋吃饭；同姓宗亲轮到值年祭祀时，各户杀猪摆到祖厝门前供奉。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

王直道墓位于招坑村头堀，为宋代古墓葬，列入县级文物保护单位。[6][7]

近现代重要史迹芦田茶场同为县级文物保护单位，文物名录将其列在芦田村，详见该村条目。[6]
